Babatunde Fowler is an economist, tax expert and administrator. He was the chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and was the chairman of the Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue and the Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS). He's a graduate of Economics at the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater in the United States of America. He graduated in the year 1978. He had his second degree at the California State University, Los Angeles and also had his Masters in Business Administration (MBA), at the California State University, Dominguez Hills in 1981. He commenced his career in New York at Avon Products Inc. as a Marketing Intern serving under the Vice President of Africa. He was later employed by Johnson and Johnson in New Jersey, USA under the MBA International Development Program which lasted for one year.
